MAY 2009: Everything was fantastic -- exceeded expectations!  What a beautiful place and everything was so well done and so detailed -- really a delight and I do hope to get back perhaps in the fall with more friends. I do wish I had known about your place sooner as I expect I would have been there more frequently.  We had a great Saturday morning stopping at Lake Vogel (sp?) and then doing some hikes around the lake/down the falls, and then up through the woods. Then we went to DeSoto Park and did the falls hikes.  All moderate hikes which were great and what we wanted. Looking forward to the next visit.

FEBRUARY 2009: Everyone on the trip had a great time.  It was a much needed break from the craziness of everyday life.  There were single ladies, wives, mothers, & a mother-to-be in my traveling party and we all found the cabin to be a perfect place for fun & relaxation. All of the amenities were fantastic and the game room, bar, and hot tub were a big hit!  Did I mention the view?  Thanks again for sharing your beautiful cabin with us.  My friends and I would definitely do that again, as well as tell others about your great home.

The cabin met more than our expectations for sure and it was really clean, like you said it still smells and looks really new. It had everything we needed so I can't think of anything we were missing. We went hiking on the Aska Trail and that was lots of fun. But the rest of the time we spent in your great cabin.  I had never been to Blue Ridge even though I have lived in Georgia for 20 years. But it was so much fun that we can't wait to go back. OCTOBER 2008: We loved your cabin and the area of Blue Ridge. The cabin was very clean and everything was in working order. I can’t think of anything the cabin was lacking. We really appreciated those little extras as I have been to many nice cabins where they don’t even provide any kind of dish soap let alone coffee filters! We really enjoyed the outside fireplace…..for us, that was worth it all! The view of the cabin is amazing………we even saw a double rainbow the last night there. MAY 2008: We had a wonderful time staying at the Bears Den. It was everything we thought it would be and more. The cabin is perfect, and we love the bear motif. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin met all our needs. We especially enjoyed the hot tub! We played Texas Hold "em poker, at the great poker table in the lower area. That's where my son stayed. He loved the downstairs. JANUARY 2008: We had a great time at the Bears Den. The place was absolutely incredible. None of us had ever stayed at a cabin that was so nice and beautifully decorated. We were able to enjoy the snow falling while sitting in the hot tub drinking cocktails on Saturday afternoon. That was as good as it gets. We will be sure to recommend it to our friends. NEW YEARS 2008: The cabin exceeded our expectations!!!!!   As my dad said, the cabin was so clean it looked like no one had ever stayed there before. Whoever maintains the cabin for you does an excellent job. I can't think of one item that was missing except for snow. The cabin was so well stocked with everything we needed. I felt as if I was at home. DECEMBER 2007 (Christmas Week): The cabin was everything you said it was going to be. We loved it so much. It was like a retreat for us. It was relaxing, loving and very family wise. The cabin was very, very, very luxury, the cabin was extremely clean when we arrived. There is nothing more we could have asked for for that the cabin did not have. For the future travelers they only need to bring clothes. We are definitely coming back, thinking next summer for our kids to do all the outdoor activities. AUGUST 2007: The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! We loved it!!! We really had such a good time! There were so many nice touches around it. All the bear stuff was beautiful! Our little one loved the bear decor!  I liked all the blankets you had in the cabin that made it very comfy. The furniture was beautiful! The beds were perfect! The kitchen had everything we needed ( the only thing I was missing was my veggie peeler, but a knife works too :) The cabin was spotless when we got there! We enjoyed it immensely! AUGUST 2007: We love the town of Blue Ridge & this cabin is one of the best! It's close to town but after a ten minute drive you are back in your own place, isolated from anything & everything that you want to leave behind - exactly what a vacation getaway spot is supposed to feel like. The home is well laid out, has a great hot tub & the lighting was very flexible - perfect for setting the appropriate mood of the moment. JUNE 2007: What a great week! We picked up my husband's parents from Atlanta airport & drove them up to stay with us & the kids. This was the nicest cabin - great view and smells new! Lots of fun stuff nearby - rented a pontoon boat, went trail riding & 3 of us went white water rafting for the first time! The train ride in Blue Ridge was the nicest ride. This was a real treat for my husband's parents & we have great memories to cherish with our kids. Thanks for sharing this great place.
